Pandora Diner (Mount Holly)

The Pandora Diner (Mount Holly)

A while ago, I headed to the Pandora diner in Mount Holly.  The Vincentown Diner was crowded, and we weren’t in the mood to wait.  Luckily for us (and the general NJ public), there are always multiple diners within a mile.  When one is crowded, drive two miles down the road to a lesser crowded diner.  This one was crowded but not too long of a wait.

Pandora Diner Atmosphere: A

The outside atmosphere of the Pandora Diner is cute.  It’s a big square building on an intersection.  I cannot say there is too much exciting going on, but it’s not bad looking.

The inside of the Pandora Diner was equally as cute.  You walk right by a bakery and who can complain about that.  We sat in a booth.

Pandora Diner Coffee: A

The coffee at the Pandora Diner was refilled quickly and was good.  It wasn’t exceptionally good or bad.  I have no complaints, and if the coffee is decent and refilled, it gets an A in my books.  If it’s cold or not great…then it doesn’t.

Pandora Diner Food: A

The menu of the Pandora diner is huge.  The Pandora Diner has everything from pages of omelets and pancakes, to sandwiches and plenty of seafood and steak options too.

I know I say most diner menus are extensive and in charge, but the Pandora diner has one of the most extensive lists so far.

I ordered an omelet with chicken, spinach, and feta cheese.  It also came with home fries and (unpictured but it did exist..toast).   I don’t remember the last time I had home fries, but I think it was the college time frame. It was delicious, and exactly was I was craving.   I cannot cook eggs without burning them, so most omelets taste good to me.  I think the presentation could have been a little better, but it’s a diner.

Pandora Diner Price: $

My omelet and coffee at Pandora Diner was 12 dollars.

Would I come back/Overall thoughts of the Pandora Diner (Mount Holly):

Honestly I was pleasantly surprised with the Pandora diner (Mount Holly).  It was crowded, and I didn’t expect great things, but I was proven wrong.  It’s only a few miles from my house, and I will be back soon.

Questions for you:

What is your favorite way to eat eggs?

Either scrambled or in an omelet.  In reality, I don’t care for hardboiled eggs, but everything else is okay.

What is the longest you are willing to wait before being seated?

I usually think 15 minutes for me, but patience is not a virtue I was blessed with.

  1. That sounds like a good place! A’s all around 🙂 reading your diner reviews makes me want to read the paper with a cup of coffee at a cute diner 🙂

  2. I’ve missed your diner reviews! I love omelets, that’s usually what I get when I go to a diner. Presentation isn’t a big deal to me, I’ve found some of the best food at “greasy spoon” joints. And straight As! Glad you enjoyed it! If I’m ever in your area I’ll have to check it out! 🙂

      1. I used work in Mt Holly. I’m in Florida and do I miss NJ diners! I just visited the Rustic Mill Diner in Cranford NJ on my trip from Maine to Florida. Great breakfast, good coffee and a reasonable price.

  3. Hooray for a diner review :). That omelet looks really good, I also like to order those at restaurants because I suck at making them! I wanted one really bad last Sunday morning but we had to head to the airport super early and there were no omelets there 🙁 🙁 :(.

  4. yum! and last week when i tweeted you about diner choices we ended up in Tom’s River (at the new crystal diner I think…?) then I noticed you had reviewed it and we both agree- it was fantastic!!

    1. LOL, I promise I eat more than salmon salads. I just never post a lot about what I actually eat. 🙂
