About Styrkr:

I always love when brands have long about pages. I might be the only one, but I like to see how the brand was founded.

[ stir-kuh ] meaning strength in Old Norse.

Styrkr was founded by Christian Sanderson in 2018 when “cycling stopped fitting around life and life began to fit around cycling”. After months of research, he concluded that the right fueling product did not exist. Nothing procured the sustained energy levels he needed. They first focused on cycling and running and worked at Hull University.

My experience with the SLT05 Quad-Blend Electrolyte Powder:

I wasn’t expecting it to be so sweet. I expected it to taste like mild-flavored water. That isn’t the case, and it’s pretty sweet. I first used it before a run, and my stomach felt fine. I have since used it during runs and workouts, and I’ve never had any stomach issues. I like the flavor, and it’s the right blend of sweetness.

Styrkr SLT05 Caffeine Quad-Blend Electrolyte Powder:

Similar to the SLT05 Quad-Blend Electrolyte Powder, it just has caffeine. I don’t have a lot of caffeine these days, so I seem to be much more aware when I do. I always worry the pre-workout supplements will be too much, and I’ll either have a headache or be jittery after. I first took the Styrkr SLT05 Caffeine Quad-Blend Electrolyte Powder before a workout. I felt the caffeine just like I drank a cup of coffee. It didn’t feel too much, and I’ve since had it several times and still fallen asleep at a decent time. There has been more research to come out that the some caffeine can help you perform better and that’s how I felt. It was the right amount without feeling jittery and I was still able to sleep ok that night. Finally, the taste is fine; while you taste the caffeine tang, it doesn’t taste like chemicals.

Styrkr SLT05 Quad-Blend Electrolyte Powder

Cost: $12.69 for a six-pack

The Styrkr SLT05 Quad-Blend Electrolyte Powder isn’t cheap. I do like them, and they haven’t bothered my stomach. It’s hard to justify over $2 per packet when I could go through 3-4 per day during the summer.

Styrkr SLT05 Quad-Blend Electrolyte Powder Conclusion:

I like the Styrkr SLT05 Quad-Blend Electrolyte Powder and think they are a great product. My issue is just really the cost. The caffeine and the regular sit in my stomach well and aren’t overpowering. I do really like the amount of caffeine in the caffeinated version and it’s enough without being overpowering.
