I didn’t mean to buy the Vital Proteins Get Up and Glow. I actually meant to buy another Vital Proteins product, but they were out. So I decided to try the Get Up and Glow, and I’m not sad I did. This has quickly become one of my favorite flavors of Vital Proteins.
I’ve tried a bunch of Vital Proteins in the past, including:

- Vital Performance Collagen Review
- Vital Proteins RecoveryWave

About Vital Proteins:
Vital Proteins was launched in 2013 with one goal in mind: to help others live fuller, more vibrant lives.
The owner, Kurt Seidensticker, was experiencing knee discomfort from running. He wanted to find a product that would support his joint health. After much research, he discovered that adding ingestible collagen was the answer. Nutrient-rich foods didn’t provide enough amino acids needed for the body to produce collagen naturally. That’s how he created Vital Proteins. Now Vital Proteins has a wide variety of products for every health need.

My Experience with the Vital Proteins Get Up and Glow:
I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve always had noticeable differences when using collagen. It’s amazing what it actually does for your skin, hair, and nails. When using it, I feel like my hair, skin, and nails are brighter and shinier.
I have preferred having collagen in the morning instead of coffee. Ever since the flu, I haven’t wanted coffee as much. Is my lack of coffee craving because of the flu…who knows? But anyway, I’ve been using a scoop of collagen with caffeine again. I appreciate the light and citrus taste of the Vital Proteins Get Up and Glow.
It tastes good, and I can actually notice my skin, hair, and nails feeling stronger. Unlike a lot of sweeter Vital Proteins products, the Get Up and Glow is more of a tart orange flavor, in a good way. It tastes great and I’ve mixed it with orange juice a few times. You can mix it with most things. My personal preference right now is either water, milk, or orange juice. Milk tastes like a creamsicle!
Price: $
For 14 servings, it’s $25-30, which isn’t too bad. I’ve definitely seen some collagen products for $3-4 a serving…Plus, you can get Vital Proteins almost anywhere, including Target, GNC, and more.
Vital Proteins Get up and Glow Conclusion:
In all, I am a huge fan of the Vital Proteins Get up and Glow collagen. I like the flavor and appreciate that you notice a difference in your hair, skin, and nails. It won’t happen overnight but taking collagen consistently does create a difference…and I don’t say that about any other supplement!
