These days you can running podcasts ranging in topics from marathon running to interviewing professional runners, everyday runners, getting into shape and whatever your interest. Plus podcasts and evolving and changing quickly.
I’m by no means a podcast expert (and you will not see a LOLZ Podcast anytime soon), but here is an updated list of 2022 running podcasts I’ve been listening to. I’ve listened to at least an episode of each podcast, but not every single episode of everyone. I prefer light-hearted podcasts. Most of these podcasts are hosted by runners for runners. Some are from professional coaches, and some are from your everyday runner. The running world is a big space with room for all.
Like many people, I first started listening to running podcasts around 2016. I listen to podcasts when I’m swimming, working, or even cleaning. I usually struggle with listening when I’m running because I can’t focus and run. I like listening to podcasts for swimming, though, and some of my long runs are a couple of hours long; I’ve listened to podcasts.
I have all sorts of headphones I like for running including:
- Aftershokz Aeropex
- Nuheara IQbuds2 Max
- Bose Sport Earbuds
- Fauna Audio Glasses
- and XTrainerZ for swimming.
