No, not that kind of naked. Naked Shake is a brand new protein powder from Naked Nutrition. It feels like a lifetime ago because it was January 2020, but I tried the Naked Nutrition Collagen. I am a fan of the minimum ingredient list and how it truly is tasteless. So much of the protein world says “tasteless,” but it isn’t really.
I was executed when Naked Nutrition launched their Naked Shakes in the protein peanut butter blueberry vegan flavor (that is a mouthful). At first, I thought of blueberry and peanut butter… which seems weird, but then I remembered duh-peanut butter and jelly.

About Naked Shake Peanut Butter Blueberry Vegan Protein Powder:
As the name suggests, there are minimal ingredients in the Naked Nutrition Naked Shake. I like that, and I’ve away from most wheys. They never really set well in my system.
My experience with the Naked Shake:
I am always skeptical of protein powder. Of course, I like minimal ingredients but will it actually *taste* good. Even with the most minimal ingredients, a protein powder needs to taste good.
I’m happy to report, it does, and there is no after-taste. I have a scoop of mine with milk after a run. I’ve added ice cubes as well when I want to cool off.
The other “recipe” I do is:
Peanut Butter and Jelly Protein Smoothie:
- 1 Scoop Naked Nutrition Naked Shake
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 cup blueberries (frozen blueberries work really well here)
- Ice
And blend. It’s one of my more favorite post-run smoothies right now, especially since it’s gotten hot.

Naked Nutrition Naked Shake Cost:
For a 2 pound tub, the cost is $39.99, which isn’t too bad for about 30 servings. Many minimal ingredient protein powders are well above $50.
Naked Nutrition Naked Shake Conclusion:
If you are looking for a protein powder, the Naked Nutrition Naked Shake is a great option. It has minimal ingredients, plus it tastes good, and there is no after taste.
