Recently I was in Wilmington and decided to stop at the Hollywood Grill. It’s ranked as one of the best diners in Delaware, so I needed to stop at some point.
Atmosphere: B
The diner itself is located in a shopping center. There is plenty of parking, but it barely stands out on the main road located next to an IHOP.
The inside is that of a typical diner. There are plenty of tables, booths, and a full-length bar.
Coffee: B
The coffee was brewed hot and fresh, and there were plenty of refills. There was nothing unique or unusual, but it was good.
Food: A
The Hollywood Grill has everything you could want in a diner. There are plenty of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. They have the greasy spoon eggs and the healthy salads.
I arrived around brunch time so decided to order blueberry pancakes. When the pancakes came out, the pancakes were big and fluffy. There were delicious, and I couldn’t ask for better pancakes. It also came with real maple syrup which is always a nice touch.
Service: A
The waitress was friendly, and the food came out extremely fast. Even though the diner was busy, we were in and out within 30 minutes.
Cost: $
For my pancakes and coffee, the cost was $10.
Overall Thoughts/Would I Come Back?
I liked the Hollywood Grill and when I am back in the area, I’ll definitely be back.

That sounds like a great place, next time I race in the Wilmington area we should go there.
It’s really good. I hope you do. Do you have any races on the schedule?
