My Experience
As mentioned, I first tried Cirkul at the Las Vegas Half Marathon. Most of the Mojave Desert tap water has a strong taste, and I could still detect it through the flavor cartridges (out-of-towners might not notice this). After a sip, I decided to wait until I could refill with clean water. After refilling, I tried it on level 5, as recommended by the brand rep. I’ve since experimented with different levels and found that while I prefer more flavor than level 1, level 9 was too strong even for my sweet tooth. I also appreciate that the liquid is clear.
A downside for me is that I didn’t get the 4-5 bottles Cirkul claimed at level 4-5. After bottle 3, the flavor was very lackluster. So I haven’t found it lasts as they claim.
