NORTIV Nimbus Review

NORTIV Nimbus Review

The NORTIV Nimbus shoe is designed for athleisure, making it a great option for the gym or when on the go. However, for running, you might prefer something with a bit more cushion or support. I was excited to try the NORTIV Nimbus, as it is touted to feel like clouds under your feet—a sensation everyone would enjoy. I have reviewed several NORTIV products in the past and have been a big fan of them, including:

Since I like both, I was excited to see how their brand new athleisure shoe is.  For under $50, I was definitely curious about I would actually like

  • Heel to Toe Drop: 11 mm

NORTIV Nimbus Fit:

The NORTIV Nimbus is designed to be comfortable. Understanding and appreciating the need for convenience, NORTIV has also designed the heel of the Nimbus to slide on and off effortlessly. This feature makes it perfect for slipping on when in a hurry.

The upper is breathable and dries quickly, ensuring that your feet do not overheat or sweat excessively. This is particularly beneficial as the summer months approach. Additionally, it has a clean appearance, making it a shoe you wouldn’t mind wearing casually because it looks good. The best athletic shoes are those you forget you are wearing, and the NORTIV Nimbus fits this description perfectly. I haven’t experienced any rubbing or blisters while wearing it.

In terms of fit, the NORTIV Nimbus is true to size. Typically, I wear a women’s size 10-11 wide in athletic shoes, and I’ve found the size 11 to fit perfectly.

NORTIV Nimbus Ride:

The NORTIV Nimbus features “Shock-Absorbing Technology” with an E-TPU midsole designed to absorb shock by deforming upon impact and then quickly returning to its original shape. This exceptional flexibility is crucial for reducing strain on your feet and joints.

It also includes a TPU anti-torsion plate embedded in the midsole, enhancing both stability and support while remaining soft and cushioned. These features combine to provide excellent support and cushioning.

Where does the NORTIV Nimbus fit into my rotation? It serves as a great “on-the-go” shoe for times when I need a sneaker but not necessarily a running shoe. It is comfortable for walking, although I believe it could use more cushion for substantial running. I use it when I need something easy and quick to grab.

Outsole:

The NORTIV Nimbus features a full rubber outsole designed for excellent slip resistance and durability. I’ve worn the shoe on inclement weather days without any issues of sliding around, and on sandy desert trails, I expect it to last quite some time. Since it’s not specifically a running shoe, I can’t quantify its durability in miles, but I feel it offers good value for the money.

NORTIV Nimbus Conclusion:

Overall, the NORTIV Nimbus is a good shoe, offering a great option for those looking for an “on-the-go” shoe at an unbeatable price. It has been a long time since I’ve found an athletic shoe under $50 that is comfortable.

Who should buy the NORTIV Nimbus? It is perfect for those looking for a casual shoe for walking or commuting.

Who should not buy the NORTIV Nimbus? If you are in search of a running shoe for the bulk of your mileage, this shoe might not be the right fit, as it could wear down quickly.
