Lyric Review

The Lyric is a brand new massage therapy device that reinvents what you think about massages. While you might be tempted to call it a “massage gun,” they want to really get away from that. It does alleviate pain and stiffness without that terminology. Plus, If you’ve seen, most massage guns are big, bulky, and not great to look at. It’s fine; they do serve their purpose. The Lyric is designed to be functional but able to store in open space without people being like: “What the heck is that”?

What is the Lyric?

The Lyric is a new intelligent self-care companion that takes the guesswork out of wellness. Not only that but it’s designed to look good and fit stylishly into your home.

It uses “Rhythm Therapy” to relieve pain. Plus, it also has an easy-to-use touch screen and single-screen experience. This means you don’t have to hold both your phone and the Lyric at once. It also has built-in intelligence that becomes personalized to your needs.

Unlike the “no pain, no gain” approach of most massage guns and muscle percussion, the Lyric uses soothing vibrations which stimulate the nervous system. This means it’s less painful and aggressive but gets the work done.

What is “Rythem Technology”?

Before trying the Lyric, I had no idea what Rhythm Therapy even was. Rhythm Therapy is based on vibroacoustic science; This means it’s the direct application of frequencies to the body that helps alleviate muscle pain and shift stress and positively affect emotions.

These therapies facilitate the nervous system and guide your body to its “parasympathetic mode.” All of that causes you to slow down and decrease stress. You can also select therapies that start your “sympathetic mode,” which can help you feel more alert and energized.

My Experience With The Lyric:

I wondered…was all of this a gimmick? Would I really feel better? Did I need another but better massage gun? After opening the Lyric box, I noticed how good the device looked. They weren’t kidding when they said it was designed to fit seamlessly into your home. While I understand running gear has its time and place, it’s nice when something looks good.

Lyric Review

Using the Lyric is fairly straightforward, and I found it easy to navigate through the touch screen. I did find it moderately difficult at first to figure out how to apply more pressure. At first, it felt like a gentle massage versus a “I need to work out knots.” After figuring out how to navigate through the settings, I found the Lyric to be extremely useful.

It comes with four different attached and I’ve found each Lyric attachment to be useful. I love all of the different guided workouts. Anyone can pick up a massage device and blast away on their muscles, but you don’t even know if it’s “working,” so it’s nice to have the Lyric guided uses so you can find something that works for you.

It almost just looks like a hair straightener when storing it

Lyric Conclusion:

I really like the Lyric, and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it might be “just another massage gun,” but I appreciate how deep it does get as well as the guided uses. Plus, it’s not even a massage gun. It’s BY FAR the most stylish massage therapy device out there. At $200, it’s one of the cheaper and more durable devices too.
