For over a month, I only used Prose’s skincare. This was actually incredibly difficult because I have gotten into my skincare era and like using different products.
About My Skin:
I’ve never been the girl to have flawless skin. In fact, in my early 30s, I went through a second puberty (I don’t really think that’s a thing) and felt like I was breaking out more than in my teenage years. When I lived on the East Coast, I had more oily skin, but now living in the desert, my skin is very dry. In fact, in the last two years, I discovered I had psoriasis. To get the right Prose Skincare products for you, you take a short quiz that asks several questions and then creates a routine. I also appreciate that they asked if I swam, was in chlorine water, my diet, and even where I lived. The dryness of the desert has definitely affected my skin, and I know the pool has too. The last few years into my early 30s, I’ve gone through a skin rebirth where I want to try all of the skincare products and protect my skin at all costs. I’ve tried a ton of things and some have worked, and some haven’t. I’ve also probably bought the wrong types of things for my skin on multiple occasions.

Ordering the Prose Skincare is pretty easy. Something I’ve noticed with both the hair and skin lines is that after ordering, it does take some time to get there. I believe it took about two weeks for my Prose to finally arrive. It stinks because you are so amped up to try it once you order, but it does take time!

I was curious about the Prose Custom Serum. If I’m being honest, I’ve never used any serum on my face until now. Each highly concentrated serum is designed to meet your specific needs, and mine is dryness. Every ingredient in your custom serum is selected for peak potency to deliver the best results for your skin. I have noticed a huge difference since using it. My face just feels healthier and more moisturized. Now, I don’t want to start my day without it.
Custom Moisturizer:
Finally, the Prose Custom Moisturizer is my favorite. The first time I opened the jar, I was surprised to find how thick it is, but it’s perfect for my needs. You don’t have to use that much just because of how thick the product is (it will obviously differ based on your needs). My skin hasn’t clogged up, and I feel good when using it.
Cost:
Prose Skincare is not cheap. The Custom Serum is $64, the Cleanser is $24.95, and the Moisturizer is $44.20. But it is worth it if you have specialty skin concerns to take care of.
