I was really excited to try some of the new adidas Adizero gear. I’m always looking for lightweight gear, especially in the Mojave Desert summer when it’s hot. Immediately, the Adizero gear stuck out because of the bright colors but also breathability. Plus, never fear if bright colors are not your thing; it’s available in classic black too. adidas has all kinds of women’s sports bras and women’s track suits.
Before trying the adidas Adizero gear, I had a couple of questions:
- Is the sustainable adidas Adizero gear moisture-wicking and breathable? Essential for the desert, I can’t have gear that isn’t. Thankfully, I haven’t had any issues.
- Does the adidas Adizero gear fit true to size? Yes.

The adidas Adizero Running Crop is a high-performance tank top made with ultra-lightweight fabric and sweat-wicking AEROREADY technology. The elastic bottom band ensures the crop stays in place. It’s the first crop I’ve tried that has an elastic band, and I was worried it would chafe. But I’ve been really happy and haven’t had a single issue with the crop. Overall, it’s one of my favorite summer running crops. In all, it’s become one of my favorite crops and pretty much the one I do the majority of my workouts in.

Brands that use recycled materials in their clothing excite me and make me nervous. I’ve run in some really scratchy, unbreathable clothing in the name of sustainability. Thankfully, the adidas Adizero Running Split Shorts aren’t like that.
Finally, they are short, and I mean really short, so that takes some time to get used to. But I don’t feel like I’m wearing anything, which is essential for summer running in the desert. Overall, they are one of my favorite shorts.
