I was curious about FlexPro Meals after seeing numerous Facebook and Instagram ads, so I finally decided to try them. I’m no stranger to meal delivery services and really enjoy them for making lunches and occasional dinners easier. Since I work full time, I am usually exhausted by the end of the day and cooking is not what I enjoy spending my time doing.
Before trying FlexPro Meals, I had a few questions:
- Are FlexPro Meals good? Yes, I think they are good, and I appreciate not having to worry about meal planning. They are convenient for grab-and-go.
- Are FlexPro Meals filling? Yes! They range in calories from about 250-570. As a runner, I found them filling, especially if you eat a couple a few hours apart, rather than thinking of one as your only dinner.

About FlexPro:
FlexPro Meals is designed as a convenient solution for individuals seeking nutritional balance amid busy schedules or shifting dietary goals. They aim to cater to diverse preferences.
FlexPro Meals uses sustainable packaging solutions, featuring liners made from 90% recycled materials. They use the least amount of excess plastic and trash of any meal delivery service I’ve tried so far. Enhanced insulation maintains meal freshness, prolonging quality from kitchen to table. Advanced packaging technology ensures superior meal protection during transit, prioritizing customer satisfaction and convenience.

FlexPro Meals:
What makes FlexPro Meals different? FlexPro Meals offers flash-frozen prepared meals, ensuring flavor preservation upon delivery. Utilizing custom “Fridge in a Box” insulated packaging, meals arrive chilled, ready for convenient storage in the fridge or freezer.
Their handcrafted recipes are shipped in eco-friendly, recycled packaging with gel packs for temperature maintenance. Detailed storage and preparation instructions are provided, with meals remaining fresh in the freezer for up to 6 months. My interest in meal delivery services are those I can easily heat in a microwave. I’ve tried several that take time to prepare, and that just isn’t for me (plus, you can’t really do that in an office).
Options include Regular and Large portion sizes, with diverse dietary choices like Low Carb, KETO Friendly, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and Pork Free, catering to various nutritional needs.
Something really cool about FlexPro Meals is that if you order Monday-Thursday, it ships the same day. Ordering Friday-Sunday ships the first day of the upcoming week. Mine got to the desert within 48 hours of ordering. I haven’t seen another meal delivery service do that.
My Experience with FlexPro Meals:
Once you sign up, FlexPro Meals will call you, which I find to be unnecessary. I’m sure some people appreciate being called to talk about their process, but I didn’t. I hope that one day they will have an opt-in for calling. Since it was my first time ordering FlexPro Meals, I did not get to choose the meals. That’s kind of interesting to me because what if I had dietary needs?
Plus, maybe some of the meals I paid for wouldn’t be my favorite. But it did allow me to sample several FlexPro Meals that maybe I wouldn’t have. So I kind of have mixed reviews about not getting to choose my own meals.
Receiving my FlexPro Meals was a straightforward process. I was impressed with how quickly they came. Unlike several other meal delivery services, FlexPro Meals are in a much smaller box. I appreciate this because I feel like a lot of meal delivery services come in way too large boxes and have excess trash to dispose of.
Most of the FlexPro Meals range in calorie size from 250-570 calories, and most of mine fell between 350-440. That’s a fine size for an athlete eating more than 3 meals a day. For me, I wouldn’t say this 400-calorie meal is enough for dinner, but it’s a great lunch or meal if I decide to go swimming. I noticed most of the FlexPro meals are either beef or poultry.
My two complaints about the food at FlexPro Meals:
- If you are looking for vegan or fish options, I didn’t see many (if any?) of those options.
- The meat portion is well seasoned but the vegetables can be kind of dry and bland. I would like to see more seasoning added to those.
Some meals I tried:
- Mongolian Keto Beef: This is not a meal I would have selected for myself, but it ended up being good. At just 250 calories, it was more of a snack than a meal. It had a few pieces of broccoli and Mongolian beef.
- Meat Lovers Pasta: I wasn’t sure about this one because it felt like a ton of meat and a small serving of pasta, but I actually really enjoyed it. I would even order that one again.
- Cheesy Burger Bowl: This was a deconstructed burger which ended up being good. There was a lot of cheese versus burger, but who can say no to cheese?
- Sesame Chicken: If you’re looking for that basic chicken and rice dish, this is the perfect option!
Finally, canceling FlexPro Meals is kind of a pain. They make you call them, and as someone who works full time, the calling is just so unnecessary to me.
Cost:
Compared to other meal delivery services, FlexPro Meals is definitely cheaper. I think for a variety of reasons, but keep in mind, many of the meals are simply not as big.
FlexPro Meals Conclusion:
If you are looking for a meal delivery service that you don’t have to do a ton of work for, then FlexPro Meals is a great choice. Just pop in the microwave and go. In all, FlexPro Meals are good, and it’s one of my more favorite meal delivery services, but I do think they can work on their customer service. I don’t need to be called, and it shouldn’t take having to call to cancel it.
Who should purchase FlexPro Meals? If you are looking for a meal delivery service that is easy and with smaller portions.
Who should not purchase FlexPro Meals? If you are looking for higher calorie meals or don’t want to be bothered with the constant calling. If you’re looking for more fish or vegan options, there are better meal delivery options out there.

- Factor Meals Review (Update for 2023)
- Trifecta Meal Service
- Metabolic Meals
- ICON Meals Review
- HelloFresh
- CookUnity Review: Probably my favorite due to flavor and meal choices.
