30 Aug 201817 Jan 2021
The Underarmour Killington 25k was the hardest race I’ve ever run.  Yes, I’ve run a couple of marathons and yes I ran the Copper Mountain 25k last month at 9000…

12x400s I rarely share easy run paces on Instagram...really I don't think anyone cares that much (which it's true...). 14.5 miles and 4200 feet of gain we hit both Bighorn and Ontario Peak. No babies. No new houses...so why not buy a car? I am always grateful for each sunrise I see running or not running. Things that seem like a "big deal" usually aren't and running brings clarity to a lot (but definitely not all). I always tell people: you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. This has been a week. Wait it's only Wednesday. Woke up this morning in a mood. I had a workout planned and did a few mile warmup. I felt ok. Not great. Not terrible. Meeting of the minds. What are we plotting? I can't remember the last time I ran a 14 mile run. It's been at least a year. But I survived and it was fun (?)
