Beeps Diner (Simi Valley, CA)

Beeps Diner (Simi Valley, CA)

On the way home from Santa Barbara, I stopped at Beeps Diner in Simi Valley. I had high hopes because on the website and by photos, Beeps looked like a stereotypical old-school diner. I decided to order takeout since I was on the road and didn’t want to spend too much time there. Sadly, I still ended up spending a lot of time at the diner.

Beeps Diner Atmosphere: A

If you are looking for an old-school stereotypical diner, Beeps Diner is it. It lives up to expectations. Even though it’s located in a strip mall, it still has all of the diner vibes you can imagine. Outside it has a retro look that stands out, and there is also an outdoor seating section.

Since we were heading home, I opted for no coffee. Plus, I had a lot that day and 3anted to sleep.

Beeps Diner Food: A

Beep Diner has all of the food options you want and needs in a diner. They have all-day breakfast, including fun options like a whacky waffle, including cheese, scallions, bacon, avocado toast, or even a “big meat omelet.” They also have plenty of lunch options, including multiple different sandwiches, an entire page of salads, subs, and burgers. Beeps Diner (Simi Valley, CA) breakfast burrito

I wasn’t sure what I was in the mood for and settled on a breakfast burrito. Wow, I was impressed, and it was one of the biggest burritos I’ve ever had. The breakfast burrito came with eggs, jack cheddar cheese, potatoes, and salsa. I was shocked at how large it was, and they didn’t skimp out. It is also just good and one of the better breakfast burritos I’ve had in a while. I have no complaints and would eat it again.

Beeps Diner Service: D

I ordered takeout. The hostess and waitress were friendly, but sadly, the food was not ready when I arrived. It mentioned my food would be prepared at X time. When I came, they fumbled around and said they hadn’t even started making the order yet. Ultimately, my food was ready just over an hour after ordering.

Cost: $

The breakfast burrito was only $9.99, and many would say that meal was enough for two. You can find something between $9-12 that will fill you up, and many would opt to take as leftovers.
