Four Sigmatic Instant Coffee Review
Recently I tried Four Sigmatic Instant Coffee. Mushroom coffee? Yes, really. No, it doesn’t taste like mushrooms.
I’ve written a few Four Sigmatic reviews, including Four Sigmatic Protein Powder reviews, Four Sigmatic Coffee Review and Four Sigmatic Adaptogens Review. They all feature mushrooms, but the answer is still the same: you don’t taste the mushrooms.
When the Four Sigmatic Instant Coffee was released, I knew I wanted to try that too. Whenever I travel, I typically bring my own coffee. I have only found a few hotel coffees I like, and sometimes I want hot coffee on the go. Something to keep note of is the Four Sigmatic Instant Coffee only has half the caffeine of a regular cup which means I am also more likely to have it later in the day. I appreciate that but am also glad to know it for certain situations.
So What Does Four Sigmatic Mean?
Four Sigmatic foods are some of the most studied and nutrient-dense foods out there. There are only 100 foods that are qualified, including coffee, green tea, cocoa, and coconut.
Four Sigmatic’s actual meaning is four sigmas (which means four standard deviations) above average food.
So What Makes Four Sigmatic Instant Coffee Different?
- Made with organic, Arabica coffee beans.
- Only has half the caffeine as a regular cup of coffee (50 mg of caffeine).
- Brews medium and smooth. You won’t taste the mushroom at all. In fact, if I didn’t tell you, you wouldn’t know.
Four Sigmatic Instant Coffee Ingredients:
- Organic Instant Coffee
- Organic Chaga Mushroom(250 mg per serving): supports immune function and has been used for hundreds of years.
- Organic Lion’s Mane Mushroom(250 mg per serving):
- Organic Rhodiola
Cost: $12 for 10 packages
That isn’t too bad for coffee. In fact, it’s fairly inexpensive for good coffee.
My experience with Four Sigmatic Instant Coffee:
all of the health benefits sound great, but how does it taste? No one, including myself, wants to drive gross coffee. First, and I cannot emphasize this enough, but you don’t taste the mushrooms. You truly don’t. If I didn’t tell you it didn’t have mushrooms, you would never know.
The coffee tastes good. Unlike some instant coffees, it isn’t overpowering and doesn’t give me stomach issues. It has become my staple “travel coffee” because I don’t feel like it’s too much. I usually add creamer, and it tastes great. I have zero complaints. If you are looking for a medium roast coffee, the Four Sigmatic Instant Coffee is a great option.
Plus, if you hate Four Sigmatic also has a money-back guarantee.
