Jax Diner (Napa) chicken and waffles
Jax Diner (Napa)

Located in the heart of downtown Napa, I decided to take a trip to Jax Diner. Unlike many diners, Jax Diner is located in high traffic, walkable area, next to a couple of other restaurants.  It’s rare to find a diner on the main street so that is always fun.

The Jax Diner is also called the “Jax White Mule Diner.” It took me a few weeks to realize it is the same diner.

Exploring Alston Park in Napa, CA
Exploring Alston Park in Napa, CA

As I begin to explore more of Napa, I’ve recently come across Alston Park. As you can tell from the photos, I’ve already been a few times because it’s easy to get too and an enjoyable park.

Located in Northwest Napa, Alston Park is roughly 157 acres. There are about 3 miles of trails and rolling hills with views of Napa and Napa Valley. The backdrop is beautiful; in fact, it’s where I saw the hot air balloons land last week. I’ve run and hiked at Alston Park, and it’s nice to have a beautiful local park.

Hiking Skyline Trail at the Skyline Wilderness Park (Napa, Ca)
Hiking Skyline Trail at the Skyline Wilderness Park (Napa, Ca)

Recently my husband and I moved to Napa, Ca. Most people know Napa is one of the wine capitals of the country, but there is also a lot of great hiking there. The Skyline Wilderness Park is one of the most well-known parks. It does cost $5 to enter, but with 25 miles of well-kept hiking trails, it’s a great deal. Plus, if you visit Napa and want to do something fitness related such as hiking, running, or mountain biking, the Skyline Wilderness Park is an excellent opportunity to do that.

Since there are 25 miles of Trails at the Skyline Wilderness Park, I’ll probably have more posts of other trails I explore.
