Goodbyes are never easy but happy for one last desert run hoorah with Marian. Nice quality long run today. My goal for the summer is keep the long run as I continue to work on speed (it will be hard when it gets to be 110-120 here) Corona Del Mar 5k 20:30 Exploring new cities one 5k at a time. 40 seconds of a 12 mile run. 20:37 and my fastest 5k in a couple of years. Plus I won $200 which can pay for this work of art I bought for my office yesterday Some runs are like that and truthfully most of them have been like that this week for me. Which is why I took a down/cutback/rest week. It's funny people always seem to think the "treadmill is the last resort" but today I chose the treadmill. It was windy and mentally I wanted to zone out, not feel like I was running backwards, and not deal with wind. #ad I'm a huge fan of Cloudpeak Nutrition RESOLITROL. We know recovery is essential to run better. Reslitrol helps aid in inflammation, mobility and recovery. Plus unlike other brands you just need to take 2 day.
