Ventura and Oxnard are some of my favorite places. Fun work trip this week to Point Mugu and Ventura. exhausting! We worked hard but had a lot of fun. Gorgeous views in Ventura today. 17 miles in the desert. 1400 feet of elevation gain. Derping along. Long, easy runs are not my favorite but I actually felt strong today. I have not felt my best mentally the last few days. Swimming has always felt more soothing and relaxing than running. My first road workout of the CIM trainign cycle. One thing I haven't been great about lately is documenting easy runs or rest days. I feel like there isn't a lot to say: I rest. It's fine. The world moves on. Or I ran easy. No one cares or remembers your pace. The end. Me on the first September day you get to wear long sleeves. 😍 17 Miles today with just under 900 feet of elevation gain. CIM Training Week 3:
