I wanted to hike Mt. Wilson the second I found out about it. Since moving to Southern California, I’ve missed running and hiking up mountains. I recently discovered Mt. Wilson on the SoCal Hikes Challenge and decided to take on the challenge. The SoCal Pack of peaks has 11 different peaks in Southern California, and you can choose to climb 6.
The truth is, maybe I thought I was in better shape than I was. I thought I would be able to run some going to the top of Mt. Wilson…LOL.
Recently I tried a few different BioChem products. Like most runners, I’m always looking for the best ways to recover. I stumbled upon BioChem when looking up different BCAA and Glutamine products. Before trying them, I actually had no idea what BCAA or Glutamine even was! I knew a lot of my fitness friends took them but had no idea what they did.
Recently I tried the Spryng recovery boots. As we know by now, recovery is a “big deal” in the running world. There are new recovery products coming out almost daily. At what point are we just like? Get more sleep.
Anyway, as someone who finds themselves with sore calves the most, I am always looking for things to help that. I discovered Spryng compression boots. I liked that they were portable and not huge like Normatec. If I wanted to travel with them, I didn’t have to worry about them taking up. a lot of room or wires strung around everywhere.
