I’ve wanted to try the Hoka Rincon 3 for what feels like months. While released on August 1st, it was on preorder before that, but it seemed to hit a delay on shipping, so it felt like Christmas when I finally got a pair in early September.
The Hoka One One Rincon 3 is one of the lighter Hoka shoes. With the lightweightness comes a lack of durability. The rumor is the third version improved more than the previous versions, so that was exciting.
Truthfully, when the BloqUV Blanket Wrap 5000 arrived at my door, I had no idea what it was. A towel, I could quickly dry off with. It seemed slightly too light to remove any moisture. Then after researching it, I found out it was a sun protective wrap. It has quickly become one of my more favorite things in the desert.
When I found out about the Spacerock Trail Half Marathon, I knew I wanted to run. I also knew it would be challenging. I traveled back from the East Coast that Wednesday; I felt tired Thursday and Friday but figured: I was waking up early (3:30 am) and crashing early at 7 pm, so I would probably be fine. The worst case was I would be tired and just wouldn’t run. I would be sad but it would be fine.
Recently I tried the Previnex Nourify Plus Shake as well as the Joint Health Plus. I’m always looking for different protein powders to try after a run. In the last couple of years, I’ve heard a lot about Previnix but haven’t tried it myself.
