It Seems Like Just Yesterday…

It’s hard to believe that this year is nearly halfway over.  I’ve had one of those exciting, thrilling and fun years so far.

January: It seems like just yesterday I was running a New Year’s 5k with Ashley, Amelia and Danielle.

February: It seems like just yesterday I was raising money for Eating Disorder Awareness and Ophelia’s Place. lakeffectwin

March: It seems like just yesterday I started working at a job I love. It seems like just yesterday we had our Oiselle Team meet up at Shamrock in VA Beach. shamrockhalfApril: It seems like just yesterday I got engaged to the man of my dreams. timandi1April: It seems like just yesterday I ran my half marathon PR in Atlantic City.

May: It seems like just yesterday I joined 39,999 other people and ran Broad Street (with my eyes closed apparently).

June: It seems like just yesterday my brother graduated high school.

Life is moving a mile a minute and I’m enjoying every part of it.

So far this has been the best year of my life and I can’t wait to see what the next half brings.  I love reflecting on my year or my life.  Every time I look back I think, wow that isn’t what I was expecting but I’m glad it all happened.

Question for you: Most memorable thing that has happened so far this year?

  1. You’ve had such an exciting year so far!
I’ve had a very bumpy year. Lots of good and also lots of stress. I’ve been fortunate enough to have great people in my corner supporting me.

  2. Looks like someone has had a pretty good first half of the year….especially with races 🙂 I am planning to race a lot more this season for fitness. My best moment so far was probably my graduation of my masters in business. I had worked so hard for it!

  3. Such a nice post! I think for me it’s been a great year so far because I’m raising my first ever puppy (meaning, not a family dog), I went on a memorable trip to Europe and got a chance to see my family and friends I hadn’t seen in 3 years, I ran my first ever Super Spartan. I am super excited for the second half of the year too! ❤ xoxo

  4. Awesome year – and I agree with you that the year is ZOOMING by! I can’t believe my kids are out of school and will be high school junior & senior in just a few months!

For me it has been a great year, crossing into 2014 I came off running 3150 miles in 2013, celebrated my 25th ‘runner-versary’, have stayed uninjured even as I have ramped my pace and distance the last 2.5 years, my wife and I are about to celebrate 22 years married, and I just passed 6 years of a great job at Corning. Good stuff all around 🙂

  5. It’s great to see you having such an awesome year, lady 🙂 But please don’t remind me that it’s already halfway over — I’m still having issues trying to wrap my head around that fact. But some awesome things that have happened so far… visiting my man in Hawaii, going to Blend, getting my health coaching certification, and getting my personal practice up and running. Woot!

  6. The biggest thing that happened this year ist hat my parents moved overseas. It’s been a huuuuge adjustment. The good thing is now I get to go to Europe lots, with free room and board!

  7. Biggest thing this year = making money from my own biz! Still crazy to me, haha. I love your half-year recap… it seems like just yesterday that I read about all these things happening in your life! 🙂

  8. You’ve had a great half of a year! I can’t believe the year is half over! My favorite memory so far would be my crossfit competition and placing in the top 5!

  9. That’s one heck of a 6 months–and 2015 has something pretty big for you too! 😉
My favorite thing about 2014 was taking a leap of faith and finally SEEING the man of my dreams who was right under my nose the past 3 years. Not gonna lie, I’m ready for 2015 to be here when he’s HOME.

  10. Seriously, where has this year gone?! It seems like everything is lining up and working out this year–work, training, etc. I have zero complaints. 🙂

  11. That is on heck of a six months! Get it girl!

That’s an interesting question, what the past 6 months of my life look like. I have a feeling I am going to be stewing on that question for the next few days.

  12. I love this post! My 2014 has been the complete opposite-the worst year of my life. 😦 Trying to stay positive, nonetheless!

  13. So many things this year for you, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has to bring. Hopefully seeing me more! Lord I miss you!!! Why can’t you be in Oswego still?
