I really enjoy hanging out with my mom. I talk about running road with my dad almost every weekend, someone actually emailed me once and asked why I never blogged about adventures with my mom. Well this past weekend, I went up and helped her with a Craft Show. She makes American Girl Doll Clothes (We have about 100000 at our house…) as well as baby bibs and sewing masterpieces.
No I did not inherit any of her genes as I can sew at all, but I enjoy spending time and watching her in action-selling the adorable clothing. You can see more here.
All I can do is dress dolls.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I had an American Girl doll when I was a kiddo and loved it, my aunt made clothes like that so I really admire when people can. My mom and usually shop for fun or just go out for coffee.

awww!! my Mom and I love to bond over pedicures and manicures, or Sunday night hot-tub time. I am the crafty one in the family and asked for a sewing machine for christmas when I was 8 to make clothes for my American Girl dolls!
…the sewing skills did come in handy in college (halloween costumes!)

Seriously, I am in love with my bitty baby from back in the day and told my mom to get me more clothes for her for easter but she didn’t. and i was a little sad. the outfits are so much cooler ahhh jealous.
