Sometimes I think it’s nice to have a blog. Every month flies by and blurs together so I can easily distinguish what exactly I did throughout the month if I blog about it.
I had a great month of May. I mean for one I passed all my classes and finished my career at college.
I also logged my highest running mileage month of my life. (holla 336). And ran a couple of fun races. (Run from the Sun 13.33 mile) and also Elizabeth River 10k!
Though, I never felt that good running. My times/paces were somewhat of a disappointment but I have to remember (it’s hard duh) that higher mileage=slower miles=better in long run. So my realization needs to boil down to if I could run 70 mile weeks at a low 7 minute pace-I’d be in London in a month.
*I would like add I bought a new pair of shoes and have felt a bit better.

I also like these beginning on the month blogs because they remind me of all the crap I am doing for the next month. It’s like my planner for myself. (God knows I could use to be more organized)
Right now I’m on my way to Annapolis, Md (or sometime today)
June 2: Zooma Women’s Half Marathon (my last one of the year!)
June 9: Trail 5k (would this be called a cross country 5k?) I don’t even know. Either way, I haven’t raced a 5k in 6 months so it should be interesting. I’d like to think on the trail I could hold a 7 minute pace. I’d like to think a lot of things.
June 16: I’m traveling back up to NY (Syracuse area) for a wedding. (So.Much.Travel). Sadly, that is also the last weekend, I’ll get to see Tim as he is going to flight school for the Air Force. I bet he subscribes to LOLZ just so he doesn’t have to deal with my texting.
Also notable this weekend is when my brother Matt comes home from military school.
June 18th: My pool “The Cav” opens. (More about that later)
June 23: Open Water Swim (1 mile). No I’m not ready (have I logged any swimming workouts? No!)
Then as of now-I have nothing the rest of the month that way. If you want to know what you can expect this month on the blog my guess is (but I have typed nothing) lots of chatting about training, musings about my pool, chatting about protein and well personal life blogs too. Essentially nothing changes…I know I live a glamorous life.
