WEGO: What would a great theme of your blog be?

Oh geez.  Since I have been listening to trashy and unclassy songs, I don’t think my life falls into any of those categories.   At least god knows, I hope not.

I digress.

I think coming from a current pop song would be most interesting so my life is most depicted (more of senior year…) as Katy Perry’s Part of me.

At the beginning of the year I felt so lost.  I had switched majors, I was going into my first year of college without my long term boyfriend.  I was living off campus.  Some of my best friends had moved on with graduation.  I wasn’t running (boo hiss stress fracture) and I was still hating swimming (not an understatement).  So I was not too thrilled to be coming back from the summer…to say the least…

Anyways-for those who have not heard of the song, Perry essentially talks about how you can take everything from her but she will still always have her soul and will rebuild her life.

My story completely.  I did a complete 180 this year and I have never been happier.  Sure-everything in my comfort zone was taken but as this blog-I evolved and adapted to the changes being made.  Though in her case she was referring to a boy-for me it was just about an evolution and collection of things getting me out of my comfort zone.  I don’t regret them at all.

So my senior year of college can be best summed up at Part of Me.  Now if only I could look and be as awesome as Perry.
