I like my men like I like my omelets

Well my car is packed with lots of crap for school 700 miles away.  Told you it would get done eventually.

Our rental car packed with nearly nothing.  What can I say-I travel pretty light (store all my college crap at college).  In fact, I could have driven without the parentals but they always like to go visit my school (as if anything changes…).

Rewind a bit of how I spent my last day:

I went to the gym at 7 and had a date with the Arctrainer.  Yes, it was glamorous I know.    I have been doing intervals on the thing for an hour every single day.  It does not hurt and I love feeling like I have some sort of cardiovascular power.

After my gym good times, I went from captaining USS Arctraining and Weightlifting CrayCray

To captaining USS RG CrayCray (RG=Real Girl…but sounds more shiplike).

Yes. Crop tops and leggings are my life and I've accepted that.

Because I had a date with this girl.

Obviously I need to see my bestie before I leave.  I swear the people at the Broken Egg Bistro must think I have an addiction seeing as I bring all my friends there and get the same thing every single time.  Matt’s girlfriend?  Yes.  D’Angelo?  Yes.  All within two weeks.  But at least Ashleigh and I went to a different location.

Although the waitress remembered me and remembered that I had a doctor pepper last time.  Creepy.  I wanted to switch it up so I got coffee this morning.  Somebody stop me…

I did get my usual though.  What can I say, I love my omelets like I love my men.

Greek.

Just kidding but not really.  The Greek omelet has feta cheese, spinach, onions, olives, tomatoes and provolone cheese.  You should all come visit me and go get one.

But actually you might have to go without me because I’m off to New York.  I hope you’ll join my blogging adventures for the semester.  God knows what that will bring.  ;)

Question for you:

1.       When (if or have you) do you go back to school?

2.       Do you normally order the same thing at restaurants or switch it up?

I’m a regular to a T.  I’m known to try new things though, it depends if it’s good or not.  I’m normally a regular to a certain restaurant and have explored their entire menu.  True life.

  1. I am already back in school feeling overwhelmed and a bit sleep deprive, I don’t know why since I’ve napped the past three days? After I’ve been to a restaurant a few times I usually start to have a favorite but the first few times I like to try new things especially if everyone else’s food around me looks good!

  2. I usually get the same thing at restaurants — I know what I like and I am almost always so disappointed when I decide to get something new.

Love the crop top/leggings — at first I thought you had a tan belt on!

  3. Lol! You had me at the title post. i like my omelettes loaded and sweet…which in relation to guys sounds about right! I hope you have a lovely time at your school! I tend to stick with a few meals which i know I will love at restaurats, especially if it’s pricey. Looking forward to reading more of your blog (I’m new!!!)

  4. 1.) As of May 5, 2007, I never have to go back, hehe. Unless I just decide to.

2.) Depends on the restaurant. I’m vegetarian so sometimes I’m limited as to which dishes I can get, but a lot of times I do switch it up and get new things.

That omelet looks totally amazing! And my parents were the same way, always came to see me when I moved in at college, I guess they just wanted to see what my room looked like clean, haha.

  5. Well, me being Picky Nikki, I typically stick to the same old routine as restaurants too! That way, I know I’ll like what I get! But I have been trying to branch out a bit and have been a little more exciting at restaurants! We’ll see how it goes! ;)

  6. I’m a regular orderer too. I need to try a greek omelet. That sounds awesome. I also must compliment Anna’s top – the color and design is awesome. I approve of her fashion sense.

  7. I go back to school this weekend sometime! Right in time for Irene to hit the coast Wooooo!

I think I always order the same thing. I always go with hopes/desires to get something and then cave at the very last second. Haha, happens.every.time.

  8. Have an awesome fall semester! And I’m hoping your injury heals up quickly…I’ve had too many stress fractures to count, and they’re SO frustrating.

I go back to school for a week of pre-semester b-school accounting on Monday, and the regular year starts on the 7th. I’m excited but also dreading it…ha.

  9. I’m a regular order too. Sometimes I like to switch it up but I get afraid that I’ll be disappointed and won’t enjoy it as much.
I’ve already started school and I’m already counting down the weeks until it’s over haha

  10. I love that outfit! I would never have thought of using those pants as outfit, but dang it works! You look great! Have fun at college, girl!!

  11. YEA for school starting! and I used to order the same thing, but I try to mix it up. Now if I am craving something I will get it (calories not counted- usually haha)

  12. I got to school in my hometown so I don’t have to actually go any where, woot! Classes start Sept. 6th but thanks to my lovely schedule I don’t start until the 7th, 4 day weekend that’s what’s up!

I usually am pretty regular with what I order at places. Sometimes I branch out and try new things though, gotta keep things exciting yano ;)

  13. I usually order the same thing. If it ain’t broke…as the saying goes. But every once in awhile I mix things up. I end up regretting it, but I still do it for some strange reason.

  14. I HAVE MISSED YOU!!!!!!!!

I eat the same things at certain restaurants. Creature of habit. I also cannot spell restaurant. I fail at life.

I am not going back to school! But I just texted you! I miss you…even though we’ve never met. That’s ok. Fill me in on your life, or I’ll just catch up on your blog. OK!

  15. I’m in NY now, moving my brother into NYU for grad school! Good luck getting here though, the weather is going to be ridiculous! Stay safe :D I go back to school in late september (Ohio State’s still on semesters). I try to switch up my orders at restaurants.. but sometimes its hard to once you’ve found a favorite! Greek men. oh lord :)
