Big Steps in the Breakfast Department

I’m at least glad some of you guys still use kewl.  That is literally the only phrase I use while texting and similar to Nikki, I normally type out everything like it’s my job.  So all my blogging bffs should become my little texting buddies so it’s like I’m in your life all day everyday.  Can you imagine a pocket Hollie?

Ugh-I’m sorry for even putting that vision into your head.  Please don’t have to many nightmares.

Caitlin and I got our cardio on after my modern algebra class on Friday morning.  I’m grateful to have someone to chat with me while I’m overcoming my injury otherwise I might never get to the gym.

Then I took her for her first experience at Dexters.  (You know that place I am forever getting quiches at…).  She loved it and got the signature pocket.  Hummus, roasted veggies and turkey all wrapped in a pita pocket.  Nom!

Then after my advanced calc class we headed to the Cuze…I wanted to have a sing-a-long but she was not allowing it.  Our car ride was filled with grape eating, coffee drinking and obvious gossip talking.  Most fabulous road trip ever.  By road trip I mean three hours.

Aram picked me up and we drove to Rochester airport.  Incase you wondered, I really do have a car and I drive her often.  What I don’t care for is the 100 dollars associated with airport parking.  That is seriously the worst part of flying.

Why I can't find anymore pictures of my car I'm not sure...

My flight left at 11:45am today and guess what time I woke up?

6:30-it was gym time for this girl.  As Janae said when she got injured “she cross trained like it was her job” because god knows I can’t go into running and swimming having lost a month or two of cardio.  Since there were about 10 Arctainers at the gym in Rochester, it’s like they were begging me to get on them.  (that’s what she said?)

After the gym I had a big step in my life.  I went to a local diner in Rochester called Riki’s and  did not order pancakes.  I have NEVER gone to a diner type restaurant and not gotten pancakes.  EVER.  Guess what my blogging friends, I’m still alive! Not only am I alive but the Greek omelet I had was the bomb.com.  (filled with spinach, gyro meat, tomatoes and feta cheese.).  By 9:00 am, I had already had a cardio session and tried something new.  I was on a roll.

At the airport, I just did my typical blog reading and such that I missed out on from my driving and whatever else.  The stellar thing about being a math major is no projects for this girl over break.

Not Windy Today At All...

And take lots of photos-I’m actually that obnoxious phototaking person on the plane that you can never get away from…

Questions for you:

1.       Omelets.  Yay or Nay?

2.       When is your favorite time to workout?

For me it’s between 10-2 but I can deal with working out earlier or later.  I normally like to workout mid morning between breakfast and lunch of midafternoon.

  1. Omelets…YUM! I’ve only ever had a cheese or ham&cheese.

Favorite time to work out…umm never? Kidding! I work out when it’s convenient so after class because I don’t want to be all sweaty and gross before class even starts. I’m a lazy bones when it comes to getting ready for the day so I usually put off working out until the end of the day so I can shower once.

Congrats on staying alive without pancakes at a diner style restaurant!

  2. Omelets: nay! Yuck. I like your pictures! Those are cool. I like working out in the mornings… I am the one in the summer who gets up ridiculously early before the sun while all my friends sleep in until noon. In the winter i’m a lazy butt though.

I say yes omeletes, but why not just a short stack of pancakes on the side? I also “like” to workout in the morning so that I can be done with it… but it never happens lol!

So you’ve made it back safe and sound? Hows’ the weather?

  6. omlets are FABULOUS- i love eating them after a great work out :) my favorite time to work out is in the morning – then i have the rest of my day to get done all my other errands!

  7. Omelets are so good, but everytime I try to make them, I fail. I love spanish omelets with black beans & salsa & other goodies!
I usually work out late afternoon/evenings from like 4-7ish. That’s around the time I get down with classes, and most of the group exercise classes are that time as well.

  8. I love omelets I just never make them because I wake up with a sweet craving lol And I’d rather work out in the morning so it sets the mood for the whole day :)
