I hope you enjoy my title. Thank you for all your lovely wishes about my heels. I got my ultrasound today and bonded with our um lovely lacrosse players. I’m glad I haven’t had to previously spend time (and hopefully never have too) in the trainer’s office.
Have you guys missed seeing the same thing sort of photo on my food blog lately? Don’t worry me too-I haven’t really done a full days food blog in quite some time now. Maybe it’s the fact that everything I have is exactly the same because I’m a Plain Jane. One day I will advance my foodie skills.
This morning, thanks to the numerous reminders by Allie, Caitlin and Becca, it was time for pancakes. I was going to make chocolate peanut butter but then quickly realized I was out of cocoa powder. Immediate fail.
So I made pumpkin pancakes and boy were they tasty!
My nutrition class was canceled today . But in my education class, we prepared for Thursday. Thursday we are going to observe in an actual school. Well a school in Northern New York, I was extremely lucky in that my placement is in the same town and I don’t have drive over an hour away. I am actually the only one within 30 miles…it was my lucky day that day. (not on Saturday at the Casino)
Lunch today was a broccoli quiche and Greek god yogurt. I added the yogurt to get my calcium in to fix up my foot. (and the fact that I just love yogurt) A lot of people said they drank gallons of milk as a young child and so did I. Now I get my calcium from yogurt. (and milk sometimes-and cheese!) Anywho, I am proud to tell you that I didn’t get my quiche at Dexter’s and tried something new at Becky’s. Aka-I got a different flavoured quiche.
Then it was off to the trainers. If I knew how to upload pictures from my phone-I would show you guys my foot wrapped up in 150 degree towels. It was hot and I was forced to watch ESPN with the trainer…oh how much do I love football. Then our schools lacrosse coach came in and we chatted for a little bit. Everyone is my BFF here obviously.
These aren’t my feet but you get the idea (and I can show you these guys and you’ll still read my blog versus my grimey feet). The ultrasound essentially sends sound waves through your feet.
Julie asked me if I wanted to go to Quiznos tonight and how could I say no. I love Quiznos flatbread Sammies and raspberry vinaigrette salads so much. (That is why I never try anything new ha.).
Question for you:
1. Have you ever had any sort of ultrasound?
My heel ultrasound is actually my second (no I have never caught the pregs) but I had a brain ultrasound about a year ago when I began getting migraines like it’s my job.
2. Did you celebrate national peanut butter/pancake day?
