Dearest Jaime,
You have literally made my life, when you openly said that blogs are a form of stalking. YES, so to my blogging subscriptions (this is probably you), I am stalking your blog.
Just so ya know, I had to preface this with I’m kinda like everyone in the blogging world’s stalker. But um really…I’m not dangerous I swear. I can’t believe some of you even said you enjoyed my rambles. I figure one day I’m going to have slashed tires or something.
But for those who enjoy them…Can you come live near me so I can have real friends? Or any friends?
———————–
But anyways on to my day of joy and eats.
Because I’m oh creative. Remember yesterday when I had a blueberry waffle with cranberry topping? Well today I had a cranberry waffle with blueberry topping! I know you wish you had a creative mind like mine.
Then I learned that I may have to drive over an hour and a half for my prestudent teaching on Thursdays. I have to be there at 7:30, which actually means being there at 7:15 which means leaving the first day at 5:15….good heavens. I hope I don’t get that placement. Either way it starts in early March which is when my first half marathon is-so that week I won’t be too upset anyways and just excited for Spring Break.
For lunch today I had one of my favorite on campus foods. Baja Fajita Wraps. In case you ever wanted to duplicate my school it consists of the following:
1 wrap (I always chose garlic…so it’s no wonder my only friends are online.) Stuffed with sautéed peppers and mushrooms, along with ground beef and then guacamole and a little touch of sour cream. To get my fruit on-I paired it with two red delicious apples. They were quite large and looked the same so I only took a picture of one. Om nom nom. While I was eating, my computer decided not to work. Um gee thanks internet. How will I get my midday fix of blog reading.
After some class and more coffee drinking, I went to practice. Today my coach gave me the best compliment ever…”Hollie, this is the first time all season you have actually gone at a decent pace, instead of that slow pace you normally go.” Awe…Ken, you shouldn’t have…no but really.
Can you tell me overjoyment for swimming right now?
700 freestyle
3X(100 breastroke-50 kick-50 fly-100 backstroke)
10X100IM
10X100 Freestyle
4X200 Pull
500 kick
6X25 sprints off the blocks
200 backstroke
4X50 sprints off the blocks
200 backstroke
Then I came home and made a piece of steak, a stuffed flounder, squash and topped with mushrooms. Would you believe my speed Ken in the kitchen? Because I had all of that done in 15 minutes. The power of hunger.

Someone asked the other day how I balance school and the blog. Well here is my general week schedule. I’m in class plus or minus 2-3 hours every weekday. I swim for two hours every day and run for an hour every other day.
I get ALL of my homework done on the weekends (minus the random spur of the moment homework in math). That means maybe an hour of work or so every weekday on top of classes. Did I mention people hate that I’m so scheduled? Well it gets me through the week.
Running makes me happy, which is why I find time to do it. Reading blogs makes me happy. Okay yes I do confess I’m not the biggest fictional novel reader. Not many fiction books excite me. I mean because I don’t read novels, I don’t believe that makes me an unintelligent person. I do enjoy a good biography now and again though. But reading blogs, reading things that I can ask questions to the author-now that excites me. Judge me if you want but I make time for blogging reading and running. I wish I had no time for swimming right now but that is another story.
Oh yes and I also have to do lists that I complete before I blog. That’s why often times my blog comes out around 6 or 8.
I was kidding myself when I said a few days ago I would have no time for blogging. Ha-what a joker I am.

Day 9: A picture of you on your bed. This isn’t my bed but I slept here on the cruise and I like the towel animal the cleaning man made. Um room attendant bahaha. On a side note-would you believe I refused to shower because I didn’t want to ruin him and requested another towel every day?
Question for you:
1. Are you good at time management? What do you make time for in your day that others don’t approve of or question?
2. Oh look, I used to love multiple choice tests in school. No one could judge me for my response. And no one knows what you say either.

Wait girl I love you! I was such a slow swimmer, good thing I like to run:) Slash more rambling sarcasm! And running workouts, I love getting new inspiration:)
I need some running inspiration too-I have been in a run/food rut lately.
I ran track back in middle school and I don’t remember a single work-out. I am curious about track/cross-country work-outs!
Seeing that waffle with cranberries made me think of the time you made those cranberry cookies!!! I miss those cookies so much. Also you a ton of friends dont kid your self :]! that towel guy would make an new animal every day it was so cute. My fav was the lobster. Some reason we couldn’t find him after 5 min. Also i have no time management you and i know that :]
I love you!
haha I never thought about how blogs are true forms of stalking. I feel like now thats only what teenagers do I mean theres…tumbler..facebook..worldpress it’s all types of stalking! And I have to be the worlds biggest procrastinator.
I would love to live by you so we coudl swim and run and you could kick my butt at each! haha
I am extremely organized and tend to get very cranky if things dont go as planned. But I am trying to “go with the flow” more….trying haha
I know what you mean about slow swimming.. I am SO ready for the season to be over and done with so I can get on to RUNNING !! I wish we lived by each other because I think we have a lot in common. Did you like the butternut squash?!
I have never tried it. This is my first experience with cooked squash. I was certainly a fan though.

Homegirl you are SO welcome in my place anytime! We can make oatmeal, pancakes and waffles together and play in the snow and have a grand time.
i make time for breakfast! lots of people just dont understand, but i really do need to prepare a nice breakfast and enjoy it while dorking around on the computer. no quick cereal for me!

Get ready to finally have fun folding laundry!
John
That waffle looks super yummy!
You’re lucky your room attendant let you keep the towel animals. I tried to keep ours intact for a day or so but he started using that same towel to make that night’s animal, which meant the first animal had to die
. No fun…

I seriously love all your pancake/waffle combos. You could write a book with the different ones you eat. I’d love to see some running workouts, maybe some speed workouts. I’m semi-good with time management – I plan around my classes, gym time/exercise classes I want to go to, but I also have major problems with procrastination aka reading blogs instead of homework.
I am good at managing time until about 4:00 and then I stop. I can so relate to this post! I don’t know where the time goes most days
Katherine
Yes! If my homework isn’t done by 4, then it’s not getting done until the next day.
Sometimes having real “friends” isn’t all that it is cracked up to be. I have had friendships with some pretty mean people who at times only distracted me from the important things in my life. That wrap you ate sounds so delicious. I used to be very organized timewise, and I am working my way back to being that way again.
haahha love the poll! and i just have to say im a total stalker too.. and i FREAKIN love your sense of humor.. your posts always make me laugh girl!
Bahaha-I feel if I can do one thing correctly in life it’s to make people laugh.
I love your blog!! I’m totally with you in the blog-stalking world…everybody around here is so interesting! I love finding all these new recipes that I just HaVe to make right that second, and I’m so glad to finally be a part of the (officially blogging!) blogger community! Oh, come by my place anytime though..you would be so fun to hang out with!
