Police in my room, 30 minutes of IM Joy and fish

I hope you enjoy my straight to the point titles.  I figure you can tell if this particular blog would amuse you that way.  Why beat around the bush of what I’m going to ramble on about?

—————–

Do you why my life is amazing?

Yesterday evening, while brushing my teeth, my bedroom door shut and locked because apparently it was windy in my room.  I had to call the university police to come let me back into my own room.  They came and let me in and I, of course, was in my pjs chilling (aka looking cute).  Needless to say, I didn’t get into bed until later so I decided I would go to my 8am section of educational psych instead of 12:30.  That way I could go to swim practice at two.

——————-

For breakfast, before class, I didn’t have pancakes.  I had a bowl consisting of 6 ounces vanilla chobani Greek yogurt, ½ pumpkin, 1 tablespoon power peanut butter and ½ scoop protein powder.  It reminded me of cookie dough ice-cream searching for my peanut butter.  It wasn’t the sort of breakfast to brag home about but it served its purpose.

After classes, I came back and was feeling pumpkin enchiladas.  I didn’t have any chicken this time so I decided to be extremely festive and use kidney beans.  I hadn’t eaten kidney beans in ages and these were just as good as I remembered.  I am convinced if I made these for Aram every single meal-he wouldn’t have a problem with it.   Then it was off to swim practice.

Aram loves his with his weight in cheese

Well, my blogging world.  I did not get out of that 2000 im, but it really wasn’t that bad.  I finished it in 30:01.  Wouldn’t it have been lovely to break half an hour?  It wasn’t as bad as I anticipated though and it did make practice go by quickly.  For anyone unfamiliar with swimming, a 2000im consists of 500 butterfly (20 lengths), 500 backstroke then 500 Breastroke and finally 500 freestyle.  It isn’t a practice you look forward too, but lucky for them, the bumbling idiots that caused the whole ordeal went to morning practice.

500 warmup-400 kick-300 pull

2000 IM (timed)

Then I quickly came back and got ready.  I’m no high maintenance girl-but it is quite a challenge to climb out of a pool at 4:00 and be ready to go to a high end restaurant at 5:00pm.  That involved degriming myself of chlorine, brushing and blow drying (unless I want a frozen mop on my head) and then finding something to wear.  But it was successful.  Because I am a power getting ready girl.

Power Changing Success.

Then off we went to 1844 house.

My appetizer was a salad, and I must say that it was the most delicious restaurant salad and one of my favorite salads of all time.  It had walnuts, apples, spinach, feta cheese and their mystery house dressing.

Salad number 7!

I ended up getting the sea bass, which was absolutely delicious (although seriously portion controlled).

Then Aram and I split a Cream Brule.   They somehow made a sugar sculpture decoration.  That was my favorite part ha.

I want to try the pumpkin bread pudding next time.  I promised Aram I would take him out somewhere after he finishes his 10 page paper that he seems to be struggling with.

Questions for you:

-How long does it take you to get ready in the mornings?

In the mornings, it normally takes me about 30 minutes (an hour or two if I decide to get onto the internet) to get ready if I’m rolling out of bed.  I shower at night and keep my hair in a ponytail while sleeping or god knows, you would think I got stuck by lightening when I woke up.
