They canceled morning swim today, which means I have to miss class today for swim practice which I’m not too thrilled about. We aren’t doing too much but I hate how it puts me in such an awkward position with the teacher. Anyways-
I think I’m obsessed with twitter now. I seem to think everyone and their mother wants updates on my life. I’m obviously sure that’s true…
This morning Aram came over for breakfast and he wanted oat pancakes. These aren’t to be confused with oatmeal pancakes because the oats weren’t cooked. Here is the recipe for two:
½ cup flour
½ rolled oats
1 cup pumpkin
2 scoops protein powder
1 tsp baking powder
Water/milk to taste
I’m not sure why I didn’t use eggs but believe me, the pumpkin served as a binding and the pancakes were extremely good. Oat pancakes are a tad bit different than oatmeal pancakes because you don’t cook the oats. You add everything together raw and pour on the griddle.
I topped mine with this new peanut butter I bought yesterday at GNC. It’s called Power peanut butter. For 4 tablespoons it has 24 grams of protein, 19 grams of fat and 8 grams of fiber (also 315 calories). I just had one tablespoon incase I didn’t like it. But I love it!
Then off to watch more presentations for sports psychology. I love that I went first, having mine done and watching them for the next two weeks is so relaxing and stress free.
After doing a ton of errands and waiting in line at the post office for a solid year, I went to Quiznos. Aram had the steak bistro melt and I had a raspberry vinegrate salad and a roadhouse steak on a flatbread.

Today’s practice was a complete taper since it is the last meet until next semester which means it is a lot of peoples last meet. The problem with college teams are many people graduate in December or go off to student teaching.

I’m not sure how this happened, but today during the timed 50’s I had one of the top 3 times. Which makes absolutely no sense because I am distance swimmer and haven’t swam anything less than a 500 this season. I guess the sprinters were having an off day. It was one of my better times but it shocked me a bit. I just hope I don’t start having to do relays ha.
My friends said not to sow the seed of putting me into sprint events. I will stay with distance as long as I am allowed.

For my post swimming snack I had a chocolate protein muffin with more of power peanut butter. Why have I not been obsessed with peanut butter earlier?
The bus was completely cramped. It is a 50 person bus and every single seat is filled. Awesome.
Dinner we stopped at Subway. I had eaten of ton of snacks before so I got a salad.
