Save the Drama for your Mama-Formal, Diner Day and Leaf Raking

My pictures are taking forever to load on here. I should have photoshopped them down to lower quality, so they would take less time.

Do you use lower quality photos on your blog when you are posting, or high res? Also-what cameras do you use for your food photography? General photography?

I’m interested in getting a new one-I just don’t know where to start and look.

Swimming formal was last night. I had a blast. I love my swim team (most of them). Half the girls were wearing my dresses-because seriously all I own are sweatpants, a few pairs of jeans and formal dresses. I ended up wearing the green dress. Thank-you everyone for your opinions. If something had happened I was going to wear the blue dress but I decided green was my favorite. Green was Aram’s favorite too. There was lots of dancing, lots of scandals and well lots of “swimcest.”

Swimcest-dating/hooking up within the swim team

I had never dated or even kissed anyone on any swim team until Aram. I actually told myself I wouldn’t. Ha. Aram doesn’t swim anymore so I’m not sure if it is considered “swimcest” per say.

Picture explain the night better than my rambling:

Housemates. :)

More of my ladies!

Aram

Dance Parties are fun especially when you can remember it all! It's just crystal light in my nalgene as always. It's my trademark! :)

My old roommate Alyssa.

Recognize the floral dress?

Yes I read 1 or 2 of your blogs last night while wearing my dress hehe.

Drama Drama!

I must just explain to you the sort of humor I had to deal with last night. I’m probably the least dramatic person on the swim team. I go to morning practice, I don’t care who I share a lane with, I don’t care who hooks up with who, I don’t really get involved in anyone’s business because quite frankly-I don’t care. I mean sure, it’s hilarious to listen too but I don’t go spread it around, I just get my laughs and move on with my life. I had to preface that before this story, so my readers (you guys) don’t think I was angry about this whole situation because quite frankly I found it completely hilarious.

Aram’s house has parties almost every Friday night. Yes, college house parties where people just come to get drunk and go home. It seems rather pointless in my opinion, but not when you are a freshman and don’t have a mad amount of work to do every weekend. With swim meets and cross country meets, I don’t ever go.

Aram respects that and often comes over for a bit to tuck me into bed or watch a movie before going to attend to the parties. Well insert 40 Bay Girl here. (Aram’s house address is 40 Bay so I dubbed her 40 Bay Girl). She is a freshman who comes to EVERY single party that Aram’s house has.

Why? Because she has a lovely crush on Aram.

It makes Aram extremely uncomfortable, and I think it’s funny to watch. Well-she knows one of the freshman on our team so she was this freshman’s date for our swim formal. He had no idea the situation. Poor kid didn’t know he was being used.

The entire party, she was all over her date (who I’ll dub R), trying to make Aram jealous…while I was standing right next to him. She was doing things to poor R, that I don’t think you would see in a porno. Every time she would do something, she would stare at Aram. She gave me some death glares a few times. I served her a plate of them right back. Poor Aram didn’t even know what to do. The best part is, 40 Bay Girl was talking and saying all these bad things about me. She was going around to my swim team, girls that always have my back saying how socially awkward I was and blah blah blah.

Had we ever talked?

No

She had come to the swim meet earlier and stared me down too. I feel like I have time travelled back, not even to high school but back to middle school. Oh the drama. But it made for a hilarious night. Things like that don’t bother me in the least, because I know Aram well enough to say he would never ever do anything along those lines. I also just find the drama some people invoke to be humorous. Being sober at parties that everyone else is getting drunk always gives me the best of times.

Today Aram and I went to the diner before raking leaves before I had to rake leaves. We are now officially regulars and they recognize that I always want coffee and a water to drink-no ice and that I have a love for pancakes.

Raspberry Pancakes all rolled up!

So Big and Fluffy

Stuffed with so much raspberry!

Aram likes toast and eggs.

For cross country and swimming, we have to do community service and rake the elderly’s leaves around town. We were assigned a few houses and that is how I spent the morning with my cross country team. I could have gone with swim team, but there are roughly 50 people versus the 15 on cross country so guess who needed me more ha.

My group of lovely rakers!

Clearing out the yard

This week is going to be pretty light on exercising because of my cross country race on Saturday. We are leaving Friday morning and the race is Saturday. It is the final cross country race so I hope I do well.
Here is my tentative plan:
Sunday: 9 Mile Run
Monday: Swim practice/7 mile run/4.75 mile run
Tuesday 2XSwim practice
Wednesday: Swim practice/7 mile run
Thursday: 7 mile run
Friday: OFF
Saturday Race

Questions for you:
