Aram always wants to get inside my mind. He thinks I live some secretive life when I stare off into space. Which is true, I tend to zone out a lot and just let my mind wander. I don’t mean too but I’m always thinking about something. So I have inserted a few of my (mostly sarcastic) thoughts that I keep to myself. Some key thoughts of the day.
Today began with a new type of Cliff Bar. It was actually quite good. It didn’t have as much calcium as I would like but it was decent. I’ll just have to make up for that later. It was a cherry pomegranate bar. It had a few almonds on top which I picked off, because I’m not a big nut fan (minus peanut butter).
Alarm goes off; I reach for my coffee maker-not my alarm clock first.
Oh goodie, my least my favorite person on the team is here and I have to share a lane with her. Time to keep my face in the water for a straight two hours.
Insert practice here:
100 Breastroke (Oh goodie-this will be oh so much better than backstroke time trial…the longer my pull out is the less I have to swim).
5X250 Free Interval
8X100 Free Interval
3X (200 Fly-200 Im-300 Free)
I came back and made a chocolate chip pancake. I attempted to spell out LOLZ with chocolate chips and you can somewhat tell but the chocolate melted. I should have figured that. I also decided to try a new Greek yogurt-Brown Cow!
By an overwhelming majority FAGE was the favorite yogurt of yesterday. Brown Cow is good too, not as rich as FAGE and Chobani but it was still good.
I had a big lull today-I was tired and just didn’t feel that great. I’m hoping I can curl up on my bed and sleep early tonight but we will see.
For lunch Aram and I went to a cute little bakery/deli/pancake place. I did not get pancakes but a chicken parmesan wrap and sweet potato fries. For some reason, that is all I had thought about during practice-a chicken parmesan wrap ha. I had to study for my modern algebra quiz so I did that Aram read my Cosmo which finally came in ha.
It’s a scary thought when you see your car coming to pick you up and you’re not driving. I had parked my car, Lorraine, at Aram’s house. Yes, just as I named my shoes baby Newtons my car is named Lorraine.
Then Aram and I went for a nice jog around campus after class. Aram was getting frustrated because I was jogging it out and mooing at all the cows we passed. They looked up several times.
Followed by going to Lehman Dining Hall. I was craving an omelet and had that along with some roast beef and potatoes which were not photographed. My omelet is always the same with egg whites, broccoli, chicken, olives and tomatoes. I had some grapes on the side as well yum.
Aram got this huge prime rib. It was the size of his head. I had a small piece and it was juicy and tender but where on earth and what on earth was this animal?
What is the strangest thing you have ever seen at the dining halls?
