I finally made some decisions in my life. Well some were made for me HA.
1. Remember my dilemma between my swim meet and my cross country race (Read here)? Well I have opted to go to my swim meet. The team needs me more than cross country does. My cross country coach and I had a very long talk and he even thinks it may be more beneficial for me to go to the swim meet so it won’t ruin my taper for my last race of the season. Our team isn’t competitive enough that my running would displace our overall team score (Our two championship meets are a week apart-how intelligent).
2. My flying problem? My mom booked me tickets and said you are not driving home. I guess I am the frugal one in the family. Well that was easy wasn’t it?
Anywho-Can you believe I haven’t posted a food blog since Thursday? I should get on that.
One last regard this was on our school website today:
The Bears runners were at the Cross Country Only Championships in Geneva. The women finished 8th in the 11-team competition. As she has been in all meets this year, junior Hollie Heimer (Chesapeake, Va. /Western Branch) was the top finisher for the Potsdam women, running a 5k time of 21:01. Heimer placed sixth out of 104 Competitors.
Insert all the other sports here blah blah blah.
Junior cross country runner Hollie Heimer is the Bears' Female Performer of the
week. Her 5k time of 21:01 at the Cross Country Only Championships was her season
best, shaving 17 seconds off her previous best at SUNY IT on Sept. 4.

Food Blog time!
5:30 am I got another cliff Z bar at Wegmans the other day with our cross country race. I couldn’t help it, it was new and called spooky smores. How can you resist? I also had lots of yummy coffee.
Insert two of hours of swimming here.
6100 yards
1000 warmup
1000 pull
300 kick
500 pull
500 free
6X25s Sprint off the blocks
5X250s Interval Free
5X150s Interval Free
400 back Cool-down
Here is practice I had to make up yesterday too. Go figure I would miss the longest practice and have to make it up solo style:
7400 yards
1000 Free
3X800 Interval
2X (400 IBack-300Free Pull)
400 kick
19X100Free interval
300 Back
I was so proud of myself. I got the practice done in exactly two hours. That is a new record for me besides straight swimming. 3700 yards per hour!
After practice I had…
FRENCH TOAST!
Everyone who keeps posting about their French toast, it made me realize I have a lot of bread to use up so I should get on that hehe. I had 5 pieces of toast, stuffed with pumpkin and Greek yogurt and topped with spiced apples. I mixed one cup OIKOS greek yogurt with 1/2 cup pumpkin and spread it on the toast. Then dipped the french toast into the normal french toast mixture and cooked it sandwich style.
Then insert some classes a nice long run and pepperoni with provolone cheese sandwich. Yummy. It was not the main focus of today, so I forgot to take a picture. That and I was cramming for my modern algebra test like it was job.
Then for dinner Aram and I made Pumpkin Gnocchi! Let me tell you-It was completely delicious. I have no regrets ha. We topped with marinara sauce, and added steak tips in. Aram loved the recipe and wants me to make it every Monday hehe.
Today was a rather successful day that didn’t even begin with pancakes There you have it-I’m off to PA rehabilitation.
When you change up your routine do you get antsy?
