I’m not sure what possessed me in the morning today-but I really wanted a tuna melt. Maybe it was because I was so tired from my race yesterday. (Which didn’t go over so well but I was sick but you win some and you lose some). There were four hills that were the size of a two story building. I grew up on completely flat terrain so I had no idea how to even approach those. I also had a migraine so I did not do as well I wanted. But enough of my negativity.
8:00am Tuna melt with 4 tablespoons salsa
Are you a “napper,” or do you have the luxury of sleeping in later?
Insert 2.5 hours of class. My educational psychology class at 8:00 has easily become my least favorite course. Infact, it is the only course I just really don’t care for too much. So there I said it. I had a quiz in my math theory class and I did well (hopefully).
11:00am lunch time already? Yes, early for me but I’ll make a snack later before I run and swim. I may nap as well-we will see. Anywho-on my campus there is a dining center called Dexter’s. It is similar to a Panara and extremely delicious. You cannot use your meal plan there unless you use the debt portion of the meal plan. For instance, I have the nine meal plan and 250 dollars on my bear debt. I would have to use money on my bear to cover it versus a meal. That is okay though, it is worth it. I also eat at the dining hall so often I will get never half this bear debt that comes with the meal plan.
Today I had a turkey and mozzarella pita bread with a fruit salad.
My boyfriend opted for the special. He had a chicken and guacamole sandwich with cheddar cheese and potato soup.

Insert a nice nap here. That nap did me wonders today and I feel a lot better than I did for my morning classes today. I have found that with running and swimming, napping does me a lot of good.
2:30pm-Protein Pudding and hot cocoa. It’s cold and rainy and I have to go for a run. This really heats up my body enough that I can run a bit without getting too chilly. I did not take a photo because there is only so many ways you can take a photo of pudding.
Insert running and swimming. Today has been rainy and cold and thus was the first time I ran on a treadmill since I started cross country training. I can honestly say I am not a fan. It is a lot more boring, although I was able to finish watching the movie and not be cold.
5:30pm-I had dinner with my boyfriend. Thursdays are steak night at our dining hall. I had steak, baked mini potatoes, green beans, a few pieces of chicken breast and watermelon. The cookies looked really good but I avoided them for Sinless September.
Now I am just busy studying for a quiz I have tomorrow in modern algebra (boo). I am also doing a “pancake eating” challenge. On Fridays, my boyfriend and I go to the local diner and we get pancakes. I like to get my carbs for my race that is on Saturday. Tomorrow, we are ordering the pancake that is the size of a steering wheel. Now-I know you are wondering what would possess me to do that. If you follow my blogs at all you know that I love pancakes and this challenge is right up my alley. Plus no one can argue that I didn’t get enough carbs for my race on Saturday. I’ll take plenty of pictures and hopefully I will complete it like I did last year.
Question for you-Have you ever done an “eating contest/challenge?” This is the only one I have ever done and ever plan too. I don’t normally eat until close to dinner time if not later.

Eating challenge, you are asking food lovers if they’ve ever had an eating challenge surely you just.
The two that come to mind are both ice cream. We used to have an ice cream parlor called Farrell’s. The biggest thing on the menu was called a Zoo. Basically it was in a bowl that would almost challenge the size of a toilet bowl. Image that size filled with ice cream.
In college, my roommate and I (and I think one other person) tried to finish it. It was probably about 30 scoops of ice cream. Since ice cream melts, it was too disgusting to finish! We came pretty close, but the soupy ice cream wasn’t really edible at the end.
Oh wow-for this challenge you always get a t-shirt if you finish.
You can do it anytime I am just choosing to do it today. i def think I could handle eating the “Zoo” pancakes, and ice-cream my two favorite things ha.
The other food challenge was in college also. Eating hot fudge sundaes. I won and was voted Team Glutton at the end of the season, about which I was EXTREMELY unhappy. Got me thinking about food and I decided that was something I didn’t want to repeat. Ugh!
Regarding your blog. Sorry you aren’t feeling well. I hope you get better soon. I would say rest, but with two sports, I guess I can say, try to get 8+ hours of sleep.
Good luck on your race Saturday, hope there aren’t any 2-story hills.
Sometimes I can be a napper but sometimes napping just makes it very tough to fall asleep when I actually need to go to sleep at night. I don’t have the luxury of sleeping in during the week but on weekends I can more often than not depending on my plans.
Yes I agree. I feel like I waste my daylight when I sleep in the daytime too.
